Keith and I learned about alpacas approximately 12 years ago. I used to say that it would be nice to own an alpaca one day, and in 2005 we purchased our first five. We bought 3 females and 2 pet quality males. Two of the three alpacas have already had their first cria (off-spring).

It has been a wonderful experience from the beginning and continues to be so, not only for Keith and I, but also for our two daughters, Kaleigh and Isabella. Kaleigh is 6 years old and Isabella is 3 years old. They both fell in love with our alpacas immediately, and they both want to help do everything – even clean up the manure.
